A hardy, clumping evergreen perennial with thin, grass-like leaves and tall flower stalks that hold tight pink pompon flower clusters. They bloom off and on throughout the year along the coast, peak bloom time is spring through summer. Well-draining soil is a must, otherwise they tend to rot-off in the center or at the crown. They should be planted in full sun but can take a little shade. Look best with regular watering. Mats of foliage can reach about 2''x1''. They are hardy to <0 degrees F.
