This is an evergreen shrub with many branches that are clothed in woolly, gray oval leaves. The flower heads, which mature from cream to rust color, have a longer bloom time than most Buckwheats, lasting from spring to fall. Typically reaches 4-6 feet tall by as wide but can reach to 8 feet tall in optimum conditions. Plant in full sun. It is drought tolerant, and hardy to about 20 degrees F.
